Luis Mendoza currently serves as a Humanities Research Fellow at the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies, focusing on the examination of drug use and trafficking in various media. In addition to this role, Luis is an Immigration Paralegal at the Law Office of Claudia Sandoval and a Research Fellow at Claremont McKenna College, where independent research is conducted on the intersections of queer violence and immigration law. As the President of QuestBridge at Claremont McKenna College, Luis leads initiatives to support QuestBridge Scholars, while also holding multiple leadership positions in campus organizations, including Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for CMC Model United Nations and Co-President of the TIRR Task Force for Immigration and Refugee Rights. Luis Mendoza is pursuing dual degrees in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and Chicanx Latinx Studies at Claremont McKenna College, building a strong foundation in research, advocacy, and community engagement.
