Akin Adekeye

Akin Adekeye is SVP & General Counsel at Quickbase, and has more than 17 years of experience representing a variety of organizations, including technology companies navigating the legal landscape as they scale. In his role, he is responsible for leading the legal function and managing the company’s legal affairs, as well as advising on company strategies.

Prior to joining Quickbase, Akin served as General Counsel at 4 Over International, a wholesale trade printer, and led the legal and business development teams at Innovative Interfaces. Akin has worked on in-house legal teams across industries, including roles at Microsoft, Wolters Kluwer, Caradigm and more. Before his in-house experience, Akin began his legal career at Clifford Chance focused on capital markets; he actually started his career as a software engineer.

Outside of work, Akin serves as co-founder and director of the non-profit organization Community Based Development Partners, focused on providing health and education support to rural communities in Nigeria.

Akin holds a bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Bridgeport, an MBA and master's in Strategic Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and a J.D. from the Howard University School of Law.
