Simon Afeworki

Simon Afeworki is the current Head of Finance at Quickbit, a publicly listed fintech in Stockholm. Simon was previously the CFO at Quickbit from November 2019 to July 2022. Prior to that, they were with SEB from June 2010 to November 2019, where they performed company and credit analysis of real estate and corporate clients, and consequent legal documentation in debt transactions. Before SEB, they were with Credit Suisse from May 2007 to August 2007 as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Corporate Finance Financial Institutions Group.

Simon Afeworki has a Bachelor of Science in Financial Analysis and Financial Accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY. Simon also has a degree from the University of Gothenburg.

They work with Ejub Bicic - Chief Product Officer, Minou Britmer - Head of Accounting, and Johan Björklund - Chief Compliance Officer. Simon Afeworki reports to Serod Nasrat, CEO.
