Gary Hornbeek

Gary Hornbeek has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Gary most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Quicken Inc., starting in October 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of VP Finance at Quicken Inc. from October 2017 to October 2019. Gary also worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Quicken Inc. from June 2017 to October 2017, and as the Corporate Controller from April 2016 to June 2017.

Before joining Quicken Inc., Gary worked at NetSuite as a Solution Consulting in the Software Vertical from November 2014 to March 2016. Prior to that, they served as an International Business Consultant, working as a self-employed professional in Buenos Aires, Argentina from July 2012 to July 2014.

Gary has held various finance and operations roles at Bill.com, where they were the Vice President of Finance and Operations from December 2011 to June 2012, and as the Director of Finance/Controller from January 2010 to December 2011.

Gary has also worked as the Corporate Controller at PayCycle (acquired by Intuit) from January 2008 to July 2009, as a Consultant at RoseRyan from August 2007 to January 2008, as a Consultant at ARM Inc. from October 2006 to July 2007, and as the Controller at Wild Planet Toys from October 2003 to June 2006.

Additionally, Gary served as the Controller at University Games from April 2002 to October 2003, and held various finance and accounting roles at PlayStation from March 1995 to August 2001, including the Director of FP&A, Oracle Project Manager, and Accounting Manager.

Gary Hornbeek attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to their university education, Gary attended Davis Sr. High School, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, Gary holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) obtained from the California Board of Accountancy in January 1995.
