Jim Jessup has a diverse work experience in the IT industry spanning over two decades. Jim is currently the COO & Co-Founder at Quickpass Cybersecurity since October 2018. Before that, they held the position of President at Affinity Managed Services, where they successfully exited in April 2019. Prior to that, they held managerial roles at Uniserve Communications, including Manager - Professional Services Division from January 2009 to December 2009, and Manager, Professional Services from March 2007 to December 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Corporate IT Manager at Portec Rail Products Inc. from November 2006 to March 2007. Their early career includes the role of Manager, Information Technology at Kelsan Technologies Corp. from August 1999 to November 2006. Throughout their career, Jim has been responsible for a wide range of IT operations, including management, administration, support, and project management. Jim has experience in IT consulting, managing customer relationships, and developing IT strategies and policies.
Jim Jessup has a diverse educational background. Jim started their education at Handsworth from 1990 to 1993 but did not obtain a degree or study a specific field. Jim then attended Capilano University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Diploma in Computer Science and another Diploma in General Studies. Moving forward, they pursued further education at The University of British Columbia from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a Certificate in Internet Marketing. In 2006, Jim Jessup attended Microsoft and acquired a Certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. Lastly, they attended Royal Roads University from 2005 to 2007, where they achieved a Masters degree in Leadership.
