Scott R. Davis has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Scott R. has served as an Adjunct Professor for NuPaths, where they created course curriculum and provided education in IT Security Operations and Technical Support. Scott R. is also a member of the Computer Networking Technology - Occupational Advisory Committee at Dauphin County Tech School.

As the President of the Cybersecurity Association of Pennsylvania, Scott is actively involved in promoting and growing the cybersecurity industry in the state. Scott R. is responsible for building the brand, increasing membership and sponsors, and educating others about cybersecurity.

Prior to these roles, Scott served as a vCIO/vCISO/Cyber Security & Compliance Lead at TechWise Group, where they managed enterprise-level accounts and created end user trainings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Scott R. also worked as the Director of Operations and vCIO at IntermixIT, where they provided comprehensive technology services to clients and managed a team of professionals.

Before transitioning to cybersecurity and technology roles, Scott worked as an Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Engineer & Technology Reporter for The Patriot-News. In this role, they managed network infrastructure, documented and tested updates for servers and workstations, and managed VMware infrastructure.

Scott R. Davis has a diverse education history. In 2007, they attended HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, where they studied Cisco CCNA. In 2012, they enrolled at the Little Star Chinese Language School, where they completed a Chinese Basic Language & Cultural Class. Returning to HACC in 2001, they pursued Computer Science until 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Scott R. Davis has obtained various certifications over the years. Scott R. achieved the "Mastering Endpoint Visibility" certification from Liongard in January 2022. In April 2021, they earned the "Microsoft Technology Associate: Security Fundamentals (MTA)" certification from Microsoft.
