Derek Warwick

Derek Warwick has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Derek started their career in 1988 as a Sheetmetal Worker at International Automotive Design and worked there until 1993. From 1993 to 1996, they served as a Final Assembly Lead at Bufori Motor Car Company. In 1996, Derek joined Boeing Aerostructures Australia, where they worked for 18 years. Derek held various positions, including Aerospace Tradesperson and Production Engineer. As a Production Engineer, they were responsible for planning and managing the implementation of production improvements and conducting analyses to optimize production areas. In 2014, Derek joined Quickstep Holdings Limited and held multiple roles, including Quality Assurance, Technical Planner, Quality Engineer, and Quickstep Learning Academy Lead. Derek is currently in the role of Quickstep Learning Academy Lead at Quickstep Holdings Limited.

Derek Warwick completed a TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2022 at HBA Learning Centres. In 2013, they obtained a Diploma of Management from Applied Training Solutions. Additionally, in 2006, Warwick completed a Diploma in Manufacturing Technology at TAFE NSW.
