Jorge Puente

Jorge Puente is an experienced manufacturing professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Manufacturing at QuidelOrtho since January 2024. Previously, Jorge held the position of Production Manager at Pennant Ingredients, Inc., where oversight of a dry blends manufacturing facility and food safety standards compliance were key responsibilities. At Unither Pharmaceuticals, from September 2015 to February 2023, Jorge managed 24/7 operations for sterile manufacturing, filling, and secondary packaging, having also been responsible for non-sterile manufacturing processes. Jorge's earlier roles include Production Manager positions at Graham Packaging and Amcor Rigid Plastics, and a Conversion Supervisor role at Novolex. Jorge began a career in pharmaceutical production at Alcon Laboratories, Inc., with various supervisory positions focused on sterile environments and compliance with FDA regulations.
