William Chmelar

William Chmelar is a finance professional with extensive experience in private equity, financial restructuring, and special situations investing. Currently serving as Principal at Quiet Capital since November 2020, Chmelar previously held the position of Senior Associate in the Global Special Situations team at Castlelake from July 2019 to November 2020. Prior to that, Chmelar was an Associate in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey from July 2017 to July 2019, and has also worked as a Private Equity Associate at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets. Chmelar holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in History from Yale University, complemented by additional studies at Peking University and Beijing Normal University.
