Mark Satchel

Mark Satchel brings deep finance, corporate action and business experience to the Board. He joined Old Mutual in the UK in January 2000 and held numerous leadership positions within the finance function and businesses there, during which time he played key roles in the acquisitions of Intrinsic (now Quilter Financial Planning) and Quilter Cheviot. This experience has been invaluable in ensuring that Quilter effectively executes its strategy, for example allowing him to lead the successful disposal of Quilter Life Assurance. Mark previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the business from 2010 to August 2017 and as Corporate Finance Director for the 17-month period to March 2019. Mark is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, and worked for KPMG in both South Africa and Canada prior to moving to the UK.
