Miguel Angel Cota

Miguel Angel Cota has over 8 years of professional experience in the engineering and operations fields. In 2013, they began their career as an Engineer Intern at Reckitt Benckiser and as a Customer Service Intern at Medtronic. In 2016, they joined Vertiv Co as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where they were responsible for research, design, fabrication, and installation of HVAC mechanical equipment. In 2018, they were appointed as the MEP Engineer Manager at Grupo Vidanta. In 2019, they became a Project Engineer at Quimera Energy Efficiency. In 2020, they founded Wisemechanics, a startup that uses technologies such as Internet of Things, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence to automate and revolutionize MEP installations in commercial and industrial buildings. Currently, they are the Regional Operations Manager at NEXIONA.

Miguel Angel Cota graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
