Miirsm Kenny Abrehart Cmiosh

Kenny Abrehart began their career as a Plant Manager in the Corps of Royal Engineers in 1976. Kenny Abrehart then transitioned to the role of Sapper and Health & Safety Manager for Heavy Plant & Construction, where they worked for over 20 years. In 2001, Kenny joined The Health and Safety People Ltd as a Safety Consultant, advising and coaching managers and staff in various industries. Kenny Abrehart also served as the HSSE Manager for GSE, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and security regulations at a manufacturing facility. Kenny's experience includes roles such as Head of SHEQ at Quinn London Ltd and BPS Technical Manager at SDCBuilders. Kenny Abrehart has also worked as a Senior Health and Safety Advisor for Laing O'Rourke, Reach Active Limited, and as a Safety Consultant for the National Grid, Areva Group, and Phillip Morris International. Throughout their career, Kenny has developed and implemented safety management systems, conducted audits and investigations, and ensured compliance with regulations and legislation.

Kenny Abrehart CMIOSH, MIIRSM has a diverse educational background. Kenny Abrehart attended the School of Royal Engineers from 1979 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Life Science with a focus on Heavy Plant Management. Prior to that, they attended Philip Morant from 1971 to 1975, although no degree or field of study is specified for that period.

In addition to their formal education, Kenny Abrehart has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2004, they obtained the NEBOSH Construction Certificate from NEBOSH. In 2007, they achieved the NVQ Level 4 Occupational Safety and Health certification from City & Guilds. In 2008, they obtained the OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor certification from Lloyd's Register. Lastly, in 2015, they obtained the IPAF Certificate MEWP for Managers from the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).
