Tyler Serna has work experience spanning from 2013 to 2023. Tyler started their career at Valley Presbyterian Hospital as a Marketing Intern, where they answered phone calls, conducted research, and created spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel. After that, they worked as a Sales Promotion Intern at Jack FM, CBS Radio, where they made and received phone calls to distribute prizes, interacted with listeners at specific locations, and collaborated with a team to improve employee-listener interaction.

Tyler then joined Mirror Digital as a Digital Marketing Intern, followed by a role as a Media Specialist at Top Level PR. In 2016, they worked as a Celebrity Procurement Trainee at Octagon.

In 2017, Tyler joined Apollo Interactive as an Account Executive, responsible for managing accounts, and later became a Senior Account Manager and P&C Vertical Lead.

From 2021 to 2023, they worked at SmartFinancial as a Senior Enterprise Success Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategic Partnerships at QuinStreet, starting in March 2023.

Tyler Serna earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a minor in Marketing and Economics from California State University, Northridge, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Tyler later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University, attending from 2019 to 2020. In addition to their degrees, Tyler has obtained various certifications, including an Inbound Marketing Certification and a Social Media certification from HubSpot in April 2019. Tyler also holds certifications from Google Ads, including Google Ads Mobile, Google Ads Fundamentals, Google Ads Search, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification, all obtained between May and August 2019.
