Marie Génin's work experience begins with an internship at Snecma Moteurs S.A. in 2016, where they worked in logistics. Marie then joined the University of Ottawa in 2017 as a research intern in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, specifically focusing on genetic engineering projects involving yeast strains. In 2018, Marie joined Quinten as a Data Scientist Consultant, and later became a Senior Data Scientist. Their responsibilities at Quinten included managing teams and projects, developing commercial proposals, and ensuring solutions aligned with client needs. In 2021, Marie became a Data Science project manager at Quinten Health, where they continued to oversee healthcare data sciences projects.
Marie Génin pursued their education from 2013 to 2015 at Orsay Blaise Pascal, where they completed their Preparatory classes to the French engineering schools. From 2015 to 2018, they enrolled at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, earning an Engineering degree with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering and Data Sciences. In 2016 and 2017, they also attended Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne, focusing on Economic Intelligence and Innovation Management.
