Marek Moeckel

Marek Moeckel has worked for a variety of companies since 2004. Marek started as a Developer for the open source game project SuperTux in 2004. In 2005, they worked as a Student Software Engineer for Siemens. From 2009 to 2015, Marek worked as a Project Scientist for Technische Universität Braunschweig. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Research Fellow for the Space Environment Research Centre (SERC). Most recently, Marek has been a Senior Software Engineer for Electro Optic Systems Pty Limited since 2020 and is set to become a Software Developer for QuintessenceLabs in 2022.

Marek Moeckel obtained a Doctor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig in 2015. Prior to that, they had obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2009.
