Thomas Schreiter

Thomas Schreiter has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Thomas started their career as a Researcher at TU Delft from December 2008 to January 2013. Following this, they worked as an Assistant Research Engineer at the University of California, Berkeley from February 2013 to May 2015. Thomas then joined Insight Data Science as a Data Engineering Fellow for a brief period from June 2015 to August 2015. Thomas then joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer from September 2015 to July 2019. Thomas took a sabbatical from July 2019 to April 2020, and during this time, they were on sabbatical. Currently, since May 2020, they are working as a Software Engineer at Quip.

Thomas Schreiter completed their education with a Ph.D. in Transportation, Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Dipl.-Inform. (M.Sc.+B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), spanning from 2002 to 2008. Furthermore, Thomas also had a brief stint studying Computer Science at Uppsala University from 2005 to 2006, although the degree obtained during this period is unspecified.
