Petru Jucovschi

Petru Jucovschi has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Petru is currently working at Quipu GmbH, where they hold the position of Managing Director. Prior to this, they served as the Global Head of DevOps at the same company. Petru joined Quipu GmbH in 2016 as the Global Head of Cloud Operations, overseeing cloud technology operations across 9 teams.

Before joining Quipu GmbH, Petru worked at Microsoft for 9 years. Petru started as a Software Design Engineer - Intern at the Youth Health Association and the National Center for Early Education and Family Information. Later, they joined Venus Technologies Provider as a Software Developer, where they developed geometric algorithms for a textile industry CAD system. After that, Petru worked at Code40 Development/MAXCODE40 as a Senior Software Developer and eventually took on a management role, leading a team of software engineers in developing payment and management solutions.

Petru also worked as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Computer Science, Al. I. Cuza University. At Microsoft, they held two roles: Cloud Solutions Architect, responsible for designing and deploying complex solutions for top Enterprise and Corporate Accounts clients, and Technology & Partner Business Evangelist, promoting Microsoft Romania's capabilities and supporting discussions with start-ups and partners on technology adoption opportunities.
