Olivia H. Marrese, PhD, is a Senior GenAI Conversational Designer in Applied AI Engineering at Quiq, specializing in the development of conversational agents for various sectors such as travel, hospitality, and retail. Prior experience includes a research internship at IBM focused on usability studies for voice interactions, and extensive academic work at the University of Colorado Boulder, where Marrese served as a linguistic researcher and coordinator for teaching and technology initiatives. Additional roles include experience as an instructor in linguistics and Spanish, visiting researcher at UCLA, and contributions to speech and language model development at SoundHound AI.
