Jens Pankowsky

Deputy Head, Capital Market Services at Quirin Privatbank AG

He knew from the very beginning of his classic banking training at Deutsche Bank that the securities and capital markets business particularly fascinated him and that it was an area he wanted to work in. This passion is still the same as it was then and, even now, he experiences new challenges in this exciting field every day.

After his training and various positions in securities at Deutsche Bank, he joined the branch of a foreign bank in 1989, where he spent more than twelve years managing the back office. He then spent a further eighteen years at a private bank in Bremen managing the securities, money market, foreign exchange and derivatives trading activities, including payment transactions and credit card operations.

Since 2018 he has been focusing on technical support for domestic and foreign capital market transactions and paying agent services. This is a service for which he was already responsible in his previous position and where he sees further demand in the capital market environment for their Bremen team.
