Elena Ilyash (Shetekauri) has over 18 years of work experience. Elena began their career in 2002 as an Advertising Specialist for Trade Quarter, Krasnoyarsk LLC. In this role, they were responsible for organizing advertising campaigns and ordering advertising materials. Elena achieved success in this role by collaborating effectively with team members and increasing visitor numbers through the successful organization of accessible transport.

In 2003, they began working as a Columnist for Komsomolskaya Pravda in Krasnoyarsk, where they produced a newspaper column focusing on computer hardware, software and mobile communications. Her articles were well received by the community. Additionally, they took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer for Borlas-SB LLC, where they were responsible for liaising with media and advertising agencies to promote the organization's computer hardware products.

In 2008, Elena began working as an Instructor at the Centre for Continuing Education Radiotechnic, Art Community Tvori-Gora. In this role, they planned, evaluated and implemented daily programs as part of a curriculum for Year 8 to 11 students. Elena also taught students to create and edit different text types, as well as organizing excursions to local media companies.

In 2018, Elena began working as a Sales Support Specialist for Wild Duck Technology Services Pty Ltd. Elena is currently still in this role, and in 2022 they will also take on the role of Sales Support Specialist for Quividi.

Elena Ilyash (Shetekauri) attended Krasnoyarsk State University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. In 2018, they completed a Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication from TAFE NSW. Additionally, they completed modules from Certificate III in Spoken and Written English, Adult Migrant English Programme (AMEP) from TAFE NSW in 2018 and earned a Statement of Attainment in Business Administration [Settlement Language Pathways to Employment and Training (SLPET) Program] from TAFE NSW in 2018.
