Kanishk Kalyani

Kanishk Kalyani's work experience begins with their current position as a Software Engineer at Quizizz, which they started in December 2021. In this role, they are responsible for building components and functionalities used by millions of people on a daily basis, utilizing a tech stack that includes HTML, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, Vue JS, and Nuxt JS.

Prior to Quizizz, Kanishk worked as a Software Engineer at Hevo Data from October 2020 to December 2021. Here, they developed various components and integrated them with APIs for the company's main product website using Angular 9, Typescript, RxJS, and SCSS. They also handled defect/bug resolutions, participated in code reviews, and coordinated with design, documentation, and testing teams.

Before joining Hevo Data, Kanishk served as a Development Intern at Newton School from April 2020 to September 2020. During this internship, they gained experience in full stack web development, problem-solving, and learned various technical skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Node JS, React JS, Redux JS, Express JS, MongoDB, and MySQL. They also actively participated in coding contests organized by the platform.

Kanishk Kalyani completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from SRM University. Kanishk attended SRM University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued ISC (Indian School Certificate) from Metas of Seventhday Adventist School in Surat from 2013 to 2015. Kanishk's secondary education was at Ryan International School Surat, where they obtained their ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) from 2000 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Kanishk obtained a certification in Fullstack Development from Newton School in September 2020.
