Sandeep Kumar

Sandeep Kumar has held multiple roles throughout their work experience. Sandeep worked as a Software Engineer at Quizizz starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Frontend Engineer at smallcase from February 2020 to June 2022. At smallcase, they developed various features in the frontend ecosystem of the Tickertape product, utilizing technologies such as React JS, Next JS, TypeScript, CSS, and JavaScript. Sandeep also worked extensively on charting in Stocks & Mutual Fund pages using a charting library, and developed a hybrid iOS application using Cordova.

Before their role at smallcase, Sandeep worked as a Frontend Engineer at Finvolv (formerly Kuliza Technologies) from October 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they managed and developed the frontend ecosystem of the UTI Mutual Fund client project. Sandeep worked with Angular JS, HTML, CSS, SASS, Gulp, Node, and Django, and also led a team of 6-8 intern UI developers. Sandeep made significant improvements in web vitals and developed various mutual fund calculators using pure vanilla JavaScript.

Sandeep's earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Lecturer at St. Joseph's College (Autonomous) from June 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they taught Computer Fundamentals to undergraduate students, providing them with a solid understanding of computers and the science behind them.

Sandeep Kumar completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from St. Joseph's University from the years 2016 to 2018. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Bangalore University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Sandeep attended Army School and completed their Intermediate education in 2011-2012. Sandeep also attended Army School for their High School education from 2009 to 2010, although the specific field of study is unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Sandeep has obtained multiple certifications. Sandeep completed a course titled "How to Confidently Negotiate Your Salary" through LinkedIn in March 2022.
