Allison Thompson

Team Lead Patient Management at Qunomedical

Allison Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Allison began their career as an Archives Intern at Harvard Medical School in 2011, followed by a role as an Archives Assistant at Harvard Law School. In 2012, they worked as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice. From 2010 to 2013, Allison served as a Coach Across America at America Scores Boston, where they taught creative writing and social entrepreneurship to under-served students in Boston Public Schools. Allison also worked as a girls soccer coach during this time. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Research Specialist in Corporate Foundation Relations at Tufts University. In 2016, Allison held positions as a Partnerships Development/Sales & Marketing Intern at streetfootballworld and as a Project Assistant at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg. Allison continued their project work at Internationale Akademie Berlin/ Institut Heritage Studies in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, they joined Marley Spoon as a Customer Communications Expert and subsequently as a Customer Communications Supervisor. Their most recent role is Team Lead Patient Management at Qunomedical GmbH, which they began in September 2019.

Allison Thompson is currently a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Leicester. Allison started their PhD program in 2022 and is expected to complete it in 2028. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in World Heritage from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg, attending from 2014 to 2017. In 2010 to 2012, Allison pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Library and Information Science, specializing in Archives Management, from Simmons University. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History with a minor in Legal Studies, which they obtained from Brandeis University, graduating in 2008.

Allison also holds additional certifications in the field of sports management. In August 2020, they obtained the "NYU Fundamentals of Global Sports Management Certificate" from Yellowbrick Fundamentals of Global Sports Management. In March 2019, they completed the "Capacity Building in 'Sport for Development': Concepts, Policies and Project Management" certification from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln.
