Prajinta Pesqueda

Prajinta Pesqueda has a diverse range of work experience in education and writing. In 2008, they worked as an Education Consultant at LLC Inc., where they provided training, developed educational software, and collaborated with the curriculum team. From 2009 to 2010, they served as an Educator, Department Head, and AP Curriculum Designer at Renaissance Academy. At St. Theresa's Catholic School from 2010 to 2013, Prajinta worked as a Teacher and PSIA Coordinator. Prajinta then joined College Board in 2008 as an SAT scorer, grading essays to practice effective scoring. From 2013 to 2018, Prajinta taught English III, III-AP, and IV, in addition to teaching dance, at Chaparral Star Academy. Prajinta also worked as a Content Writer at medium.com starting in 2014. In 2018, Prajinta held multiple roles as an English Teacher and Writer at KIPP Austin and medium.com. Prajinta proceeded to work as a Teacher, Writer, and Podcaster at Public Charter, Self-Employed in 2018. Prajinta also contributed as a Web Content Writer at Quora - Surviving N Thriving in 2019. Prajinta has demonstrated a passion for teaching and a strong writing ability throughout their career.

Prajinta Pesqueda obtained a Masters degree in English education from West Texas A&M University, completing their studies from 1977 to 1979. Additionally, they hold several certifications including ESL from Amarillo ISD in August 2001, Advanced Placement/Dual Credit from Amarillo ISD in July 2000, and Gifted Talented from Austin Independent School District in May 1990.
