Vinod Kumar (Jiani)

Vinod Kumar (Jiani) has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Vinod Kumar started their career as a Summer Research Fellow at JNCASR, where they investigated the quantum to classical transition under the guidance of Prof. N S Vidhyadhiraja.

In 2019, they also worked as a PG executive at Student Alumni Interaction Linkage, IIT Guwahati.

Vinod then joined Ashoka University in 2022 as a Teaching Fellow, where they taught Physics of the Universe and Mathematical Physics-II. Vinod Kumar continued their role as a Teaching Fellow until January 2023.

Prior to that, in 2017, they worked as a Writer at Quora.

Currently, Vinod is a Research Scholar at the Centre for Neuroscience in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

Vinod Kumar (Jiani) started their education by attending Tagore School in Taranagar from 2014 to 2016, where they completed their Sr. Secondary education with a focus on Science. Following that, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued their Bachelor of Physical Sciences degree at St. Stephen's College in Delhi. Moving forward, Vinod enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Physics degree. In the future, they plan to attend Ashoka University, with a focus on Psychology starting in 2023, and then follow it up with Neuroscience in 2022.
