Javier Estrada Tobar

Javier Estrada Tobar is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and strategic communication. As co-founder and advisor at Quorum Comunicación since June 2021, Javier has designed the organization's institutional structure and managed inter-institutional relationships. Previously, Javier served as editor-in-chief, defining editorial agendas and creating diverse media content. Experience includes a role as communications specialist at American University, focusing on stakeholder communication strategies, and consulting positions at Hivos and Instituto 25A, where Javier developed communication strategies and researched narratives for social change. From 2016 to 2020, Javier worked as a senior journalist at Nomada, overseeing editorial direction and grant management. Earlier experience includes deputy director and editor-in-chief roles at La Hora, along with a strong educational background in communication and studies in American and European studies from the University of Buenos Aires.
