Sr Director Enterprise Architecture at Quorum Software

Feridoon Amini has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Feridoon currently holds the position of Sr. Director - Enterprise Architecture at Quorum Software since 2017. In this role, Feridoon is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of Quorum's various products and ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2017, they worked at DentalSpots.com as Director - Architecture & Development. Here, Feridoon led teams in the development of a scalable and flexible SOA and Event Driven platform for managing staffing needs in the dental industry.

From 2012 to 2016, Feridoon served as Director - Solution Architecture at ProQualitySoft, where they directed teams in designing solutions that added value for clients while meeting requirements and ensuring compliance. Before that, from 2003 to 2011, they worked at American Airlines in various roles, including Architecture Manager for Operational/Real-Time Systems and HR & Finance Systems, as well as Lead J2EE Architect for Customer Technology. During their tenure at American Airlines, Feridoon played crucial roles in optimizing systems, reengineering processes, and driving system integration, resulting in significant cost savings.

Earlier in their career, Feridoon worked at Southwest Airlines as a Lead Enterprise Architect, where they focused on strategic projects and process improvement across multiple development teams. Feridoon also served as a Sr. Architect at Parago, where they were involved in developing a new technology solution to automate rebate processing. Prior to that, they held positions at CSC, FedEx, and Sprint, where they gained experience in software development and design.

Feridoon Amini completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1992 to 1996. Feridoon then pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University from 1999 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in January 2000, followed by Sun Certified Java Developer certification in May 2000. Later, they obtained the Sun Certified Java Architect certification in January 2001. In April 2008, Feridoon Amini also achieved TOGAFF 8 certification.
