Rafael Cacilhas

Rafael Cacilhas has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Mestrando em Física at Universidade Federal de Viçosa in 2015 where they worked on experimental physics and learned to handle expensive equipment. Rafael then pursued their Ph.D in Theoretical Physics at the same university under the guidance of Prof. Vagson from 2017 to 2021.

After completing their academic degrees, Rafael worked as a full stack developer at QikServe from January 2022 to March 2022 and at Vision Root from April 2022 to July 2022. In these roles, they mainly utilized React, Node.js, and also gained experience with Laravel.

Rafael also worked as a front-end developer at ContaJá Contabilidade Online from August 2022 to October 2022. Following this, they co-founded Carbon Flore in June 2021, where they served as the Technology Director. At Carbon Flore, Rafael aimed to bridge the gap in the carbon neutralization market by demonstrating the possibility of aligning environmental protection with business growth.

Currently, Rafael is working as a software engineer at Quorum starting from February 2023, where they continue to develop their skills in software engineering.

Rafael Cacilhas began their education in 2011 at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics. Rafael dedicated ten years to this program, completing their studies in 2021. Following this, in 2021, Rafael enrolled at Labenu, where they focused on studying Fullstack.
