Július Retzer has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Mystery shopping report reviewer at Market Vision s.r.o. In 2015, they joined eDocu a.s. as a Junior Web Developer, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of a unique platform utilizing stickers with QR codes and NFC chips.

In 2016, Július Retzer worked as a Web Developer at Quadric, focusing on building a new social network using Meteor and React.js. Július then moved on to Danske Bank, where they were a Web Developer involved in the development of a finance-focused project.

From 2019 to 2020, Július Retzer served as a LabMaster/Lecturer at OpenLab.sk, where their responsibilities included leading web development classes and mentoring students in various web technologies and frameworks.

In 2020, Július Retzer joined EPAM Systems as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Lead Software Engineer. Most recently, Július Retzer joined Quotebeam in 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Július Retzer attended F.G. Lorca Gymnasium from 2003 to 2011, where they focused on Spanish-Slovak bilingual studies. Július then pursued a degree in Social and Work Psychology from Comenius University in Bratislava from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Július studied Psychology at Universidade do Porto in 2013 and 2014. However, no specific degree was obtained during their time at either institution.
