Matthew Young

Matthew Young currently serves as the Head of Target Data Science at Quotient Therapeutics since November 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held several positions at Wellcome Sanger Institute from April 2016 to November 2022, including Principal Staff Scientist and Principal Bioinformatician. Matthew's earlier experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Repositive and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge. Matthew began their career as a Research Assistant at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. Academically, Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge and both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
