Jim Bowman

Jim Bowman, CISSP, serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Strategy & Architecture at Qurate Retail Group since February 2016, having previously held positions including Manager of Cybersecurity Architecture and IT Security Architect. Prior to this, Jim was the Chief Security Officer at Godiva Chocolatier, where significant security initiatives included implementing application whitelisting, leading a global vulnerability management program, and restoring PCI DSS compliance. Jim's career also includes roles as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Brenntag North America, where cost-saving initiatives were executed, and as Network Engineer at Carpenter Technology and Mack Trucks, overseeing major network overhauls and improvements. Jim began their career as a Network Engineer with the United States Air Force. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Security and Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Western International University.
