Amir Bein

VP, Biology at Quris

Amir is an expert in primary human Organs-on-Chip models with more than 12 years of experience in cell biology, biochemistry, and nutrition, and an extensive focus on inflammatory diseases, in vitro disease modeling, and drug research. Amir earned a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he graduated as a laureate of The Harry and Sylvia Hoffman Leadership and Responsibility Program for outstanding Ph.D. students. He comes to Quris as VP of Biology after 5 years at Harvard Medical School, where he led cutting edge research on disease modeling and drug repurposing using Organ-on-Chip platforms. Throughout his career, Amir has participated in high risk and groundbreaking multimillion dollar research projects with the goal of revolutionizing scientific technology. In his free time, Amir enjoys hiking and kayaking.
