Kobi Richter

Kobi Richter is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Technology Officer of Medinol, where he has led the charge in transforming the interventional cardiology industry. Kobi is also on the board of directors of Orbotech, a leading microelectronic product company which he co-founded prior to Medinol. He also worked as a post-doctoral and research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and Brain Research Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and served as head of research and development for the Israeli Air Force. Dr. Richter has a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from Tel Aviv University. He currently serves on the Cardiac Council of Columbia University Medical Center, and on the Advisory Board of the Center for Brains, Minds and Machines (CBMM) in the McGovern Institute for Brain Research, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences.
