Christian Gehrmann

Christian Gehrmann has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Christian is currently the Founder and Partner at Quiritis since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lund University as a Professor of Computer Security since May 2020. Christian also held the positions of Docent and Adjunct Professor at Lund University from March 2007 to April 2020. In 2015, they founded Gehrmann Trusted ICT AB, a company specializing in applied research and development in computer and communication security. From July 2020 to December 2022, they served as the Chair of the Culture and Leisure Committee at Lunds kommun. Christian also worked at SICS as a Lab Manager and Lund Site Manager and Secure Systems Research Group Manager from 2009 to 2017. Before that, they were a Lead Engineer at Axis Communications AB from September 2007 to July 2009. Prior to their time at Axis Communications, they worked at Ericsson as a Sr. Specialist and Research Engineer from 1997 to 2007. Christian began their career as a PhD student at Lund University in 1992.

Christian Gehrmann earned a Ph.D. in Information Theory from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University between 1992 and 1997. Prior to that, they completed their MSc in Electrical Engineering at the same institution from 1988 to 1991.
