Carles Alonso has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the technology sector. Carles started their career as an Electronics Engineer at FUNITEC in 2005 and later worked as a Senior Electronics and Software Engineer at Adecq Digital from 2008 to 2010, where they specialized in developing Video on Demand services and Set-Top-Boxes.

Carles then joined Motive Television plc (acquired Adecq Digital) in 2010, where they held multiple positions, including Sr Systems Engineer and Engineering Design Manager. Most recently, Carles joined adesso Spain in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer, involved in IoT Smart metering solutions embedded software development. Carles was later promoted to the position of Lead Engineer/Software Architect in 2022, responsible for leading the engineering team and software architecture.

Carles is currently working at Qustodio as a Senior C++ Engineer, starting in February 2023.

In 2002, they began their undergraduate studies at La Salle, Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Electronic Systems.
