Kai Erlund

Kai Erlund is currently the Chief Legal Officer at Quuppa. Previously, they were a Partner and Head of Technology & Outsourcing at Dittmar & Indrenius from March 2016 to June 2019. In this role, Kai advised corporate clients in the procurement of business critical ICT systems and services. Kai also supported ICT suppliers and customers in their outsourcing arrangements, project agreements and licensing contracts.

Before Dittmar & Indrenius, Kai was Counsel and Co-Head of Technology Practice Group at Krogerus Attorneys Ltd from November 2011 to March 2016. At Krogerus, Kai specialized in technology law (license agreements, IT-service agreements, outsourcing and technology related transactions) as well as other contracting (e.g. infrastructure projects). Prior to Krogerus, Kai had 14 years of experience in both law firm and in-house counsel environments, including with software suppliers Oracle and Symantec.

From April 2005 to May 2008, Kai worked as Legal, Sr. Manager at Oracle. From January 2003 to December 2005, they served as Corporate Counsel at Symantec. Kai started their career as Corporate Counsel at Setec from January 2001 to December 2003.

Kai Erlund graduated from Sibeliuslukio in 1992 and then from Ashland High School in 1990. Kai went on to get their Master of Laws in Law from the University of Helsinki.

They are on a team with Fabio Belloni - CCO, Yang Luo - Sales Manager, Japan & Korea, and Thomas Hasselman - CMO. Kai Erlund reports to Kimmo Kalliola, CEO.
