Pia Lauritzen, PhD

Pia Lauritzen, PhD, has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Pia is the Founder and CEO of Qvest, a digital platform that promotes shared responsibility for important company goals by emphasizing the power of asking questions. Pia also served as the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Qvest, where they worked closely with a team of software developers, designers, and data scientists to develop the Qvest platform. In addition, they have worked as a Contributing Writer for strategy+business, a Founding Board Member of Question Jam, and a Writer and Keynote Speaker for Qvest Lab ApS v Pia Lauritzen. Pia also contributed as a Columnist for the Danish business newspaper, Finans, where they focused on asking challenging questions related to leadership, strategy, cultural transformation, and technology. Furthermore, Pia co-founded and was a partner at Indblik Inc., a company that aimed to develop new theories, methods, and tools based on humanistic and social scientific research. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoc at Aarhus University, conducting research on the implications of questioning in different language communities. Pia also has experience as a Partner and Researcher at Academy A, a commercial research center, and as a Management Consultant at Advice A/S, where they provided guidance in areas such as leadership, organizational development, change management, and communication. Pia holds a PhD from the University of Copenhagen, where their research focused on the intersection of theory and practice.

Pia Lauritzen, PhD, has an extensive education history. Pia began their academic journey at Køge Gymnasium, where they completed their high school education from 1993 to 1996. Pia then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen between 1997 and 2000. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Pia Lauritzen obtained a Magister Artium degree, also in Philosophy, from the University of Copenhagen in 2003. Continuing their academic pursuits, they completed a supplementary education in Professional Communication at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole in 2005. Finally, Pia Lauritzen earned their PhD in Philosophy from Aarhus University in 2012.
