Sofia Paronen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and project management within the fashion industry. Currently serving as Nordic Director of Operations at Qwamplify Nordics since January 2020, Sofia has held previous roles including Project Director and Project Manager. Notable past positions include Operations Manager & Buyer at Della Marga / CHANEL store in Helsinki, where responsibilities encompassed team management and procurement, as well as participation in buying sessions in Milan, Paris, and Copenhagen. Additional experience includes a collaborative MA project with Kering and the Center for Sustainable Fashion, and various sales representative roles at luxury retailers. Sofia holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Fashion Marketing from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Marketing and Business Management from London Metropolitan University, supplemented by ongoing studies at Aalto University in Fashion History.
