Samiran Das

Samiran Das has over 35 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the consulting, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and bio-fuel industries. Samiran currently serves as the Industry Lead - Life Sciences Practice at Qwixpert Consulting since October 2020. Prior to that, they founded Antahkarana in 2018, which offers services in the Strategy and Supply Operations space including executive coaching and mentoring. Samiran also worked as a Partner at KINDUZ Consulting, providing Business and Operations Excellence services across different sectors globally.

Earlier in their career, Samiran held executive positions at Dr Reddy's, where they served as the Executive Vice President and Head Global Manufacturing Operations. Samiran oversaw the company's global manufacturing and supply network and assets, with responsibilities that included supply chain, procurement, continuous improvement, projects, engineering, capacity and capability building. Additionally, they were the Executive Director - Technical Operations at PepsiCo India, responsible for the beverage business in the India region. Samiran developed and implemented a supply strategy to support sustainable growth and managed 42 manufacturing units and their support systems.

Prior to that, Samiran served as the Chief Executive Officer of D1-BP Fuel Crops India Limited, a joint venture with British Petroleum in the bio-fuel sector. Samiran also held the position of Operations Director at PepsiCo India Holding, FritoLay Division, where they were responsible for the optimal operation of company-owned manufacturing and 3P units.

Earlier in their career, Samiran held leadership positions at General Mills India, Unilever India, and ICI India Ltd.

Throughout their career, Samiran has demonstrated expertise in strategy, supply chain management, operations excellence, and organizational growth.

Samiran Das completed their ISC at Frank Anthony Public School from 1965 to 1976. Samiran then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1977 to 1982.
