John Bacsik

John Bacsik is an experienced educator and administrator with a strong background in Catholic education. Currently serving as the Associate Superintendent of Schools for the R.C. Diocese of Paterson since August 2022, John has previously held positions such as School Principal at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic School and Director of Professional Development at Partnership Schools. John’s extensive teaching experience includes roles as a second-grade teacher at Durham Academy and a seventh-grade teacher at St. James Catholic School, where John contributed to school accreditation and organized fundraising initiatives. With a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Notre Dame, John has a proven track record in enhancing academic rigor, implementing blended learning models, and facilitating professional development for educators.
