Victoria Russell has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and people management. Victoria is currently working as the Chief People Officer at RM Williams since 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners from 2019 to 2023, including Head of People Services/Operations and People & Culture Leader. Before that, they worked at GrainCorp from 2018 to 2019, where they served as the General Manager Organizational Development and General Manager Human Resources for the Oils business. In their role at GrainCorp, they developed and executed the People Strategy for the Oils business and focused on improving talent development and succession planning.

Victoria also has experience working at Qantas, where they held several positions from 2008 to 2018. These roles included National HR Manager, Human Resources Manager for Domestic Customer Experience & Ground Operations, Human Resources Manager for NSW/ACT Airports, Manager People Relations for Perth Airport, National Manager People Relations, and Senior Adviser People Relations. At Qantas, they were responsible for delivering the People strategy, talent and succession planning, developing leadership programs, managing day-to-day HR issues, and driving engagement and change.

Prior to their time at Qantas, they worked at Goodman Fielder as a Human Resources Adviser from 2007 to 2008, Fairfax Media as a Human Resources Adviser from 2005 to 2006, and RailCorp as an HR/IR Specialist in 2005. Victoria also worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Career Development & HR Consultant from 2003 to 2005.

Victoria Russell obtained a Certification in Human Resources (CPHR) from the Australian HR Institute from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed the Qantas Emerging Leaders Program at AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2010 to 2012. Victoria earned a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Sydney from 2006 to 2008. Victoria'sundergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, which they obtained from Macquarie University from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they have completed additional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Course: Improve Productivity from the Centre for Continuing Education in 2022, becoming a Professional member (CAHRI) of the Australian HR Institute in 2017, and obtaining Accreditation OCI, GSI & LSI from Human Synergistics in 2010.
