Amanda Pounds

Amanda Pounds, MHA, currently serves as the Regional Accountability and Performance Manager at R1 RCM since March 2021, following a role as Performance Lead. Previously, Amanda held the position of Patient Access Manager at Parallon from February 2016 to February 2021, overseeing operations for multiple Methodist hospitals and ensuring compliance, productivity, and quality metrics across a 1753 bed facility with a staff of 70. Amanda's extensive experience includes leadership in patient access operations, project improvement strategies, and financial oversight, complemented by earlier roles in business development and customer service. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
