Margaret Briseño

Margaret Briseño has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Margaret is currently a Member at Knoetic | CPOHQ. Prior to that, they were the Head of People at Semgrep, where they led talent acquisition, HR, and people ops functions. Margaret also held roles as the Head of Talent Acquisition and Senior Recruiter at Semgrep. Before joining Semgrep, Margaret worked at thredUP as a Human Resources Business Partner and Senior Talent Acquisition Partner. Margaret also served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner at thredUP, focusing on operations. Margaret's earlier experience includes working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at JUST (formerly Hampton Creek) and as a Business Operations Manager at Apptimize, Inc. Margaret began their career as a Freelance Writer, Photographer, and Graphic Designer at byandmarge media.

Margaret Briseño earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from DePauw University, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. In 2021, they attended UC Berkeley Extension to further their education in the field of Organization Development & Change. Margaret also obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2021.
