Senior Data Scientist at r4 Technologies

Sean Kim has held a variety of roles in the field of data science and statistics. From 2019 to present, they have been a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at r4 Technologies. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Graduate Machine Learning Assistant at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where they integrated human whole genome microarray data related to Type 2 Diabetes and developed a K-Nearest-Neighbors (KNN) imputation model to replace missing points. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University, where they instructed graduate level courses such as Advanced Programming Using SAS and Distribution Theory. Sean Kim's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sogang University from 2004 to 2011. Sean then pursued a Master of Science in Statistics from Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2013, followed by a PhD in Statistics from the same university from 2013 to 2015, although they did not complete the program. Finally, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Rochester from 2016 to 2018.
