Ivo Hermsen

Ivo Hermsen is an experienced archaeologist and project leader with a strong background in the study of the Late Prehistoric and Roman periods in Northwestern Europe. Currently serving as an archaeologist and project leader at RAAP since August 2014, Ivo has previously held senior and project leadership roles at Archeodienst BV and Archeologie Deventer, among others. Ivo's expertise encompasses both period and material specializations, and the academic foundation includes degrees in Late Prehistory and Roman studies from the University of Amsterdam and Museology from the Reinwardt Academie. Additional teaching experience as an instructor for the VakPlus module in Late Prehistory at Saxion Hogeschool further highlights Ivo's commitment to knowledge dissemination in the field of archaeology.
