Sreenivas Kakani

Sreenivas Kakani is an experienced powerplant operations engineer currently working at RAWEC (Rabigh Arabian Water & Electricity Company) since September 2015, specializing in the commissioning and control room operations of an 840 MW fuel oil fired boiler integrated power plant. Prior to this role, Sreenivas worked at The TATA Power Co. Ltd from September 2010 to September 2015 as a desk operation engineer for a 1000 MW multi-fuel boiler thermal power plant, and at Penna Cement Industries Ltd from January 2009 to August 2010 as an executive assistant involved in the erection, commissioning, and maintenance of a CFBC boiler thermal power plant. Sreenivas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic College, and has furthered education in hydrogen energy and process safety management.
