Bastiaan Scheutjens

Bastiaan Scheutjens, CFA, FRM, currently serves as the Area Lead Credit Intelligence & Metrics at Rabobank since November 2024. Previously, Bastiaan held various roles at a.s.r. verzekeringen, where responsibilities included leading the implementation of generative AI projects. At Aegon Nederland, Bastiaan managed the Process Analytics & Operational Excellence team and the Risk & Compliance Analytics team, overseeing data-driven solutions and advising the Chief Risk Officer on enterprise risk management. Earlier experience includes positions at Aegon Group focusing on Solvency II capital positions, as well as roles at Aegon Asset Management that involved investment mandate creation and guarantee hedging processes. Bastiaan holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Finance and Investments from Rotterdam School of Management and completed a strategic leadership program at IESE Business School.
