Melle Franken

Melle Franken is an accomplished finance professional, currently serving as the Head of Private Placements Europe at Rabobank since September 2013, where responsibilities include the origination and execution of private placement transactions for European clients. Previous roles include Executive Director in Leveraged Loan Syndication and Director of Corporate Loan Syndications at Rabobank Australia, focusing on leveraged buy-out and corporate transactions across Australia and New Zealand. Melle has extensive experience in leveraged finance, having worked on transaction execution and portfolio management in the Dutch and French markets. Melle's career began with a management trainee program at Rabobank, following internships at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and ING in Hong Kong. Melle holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration for the Financial Sector from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and studied at Stellenbosch University.
