Anjana Wijesinghe

Anjana Wijesinghe has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Rabot, where they developed object detection and classification models, implemented automated pipelines, and trained and evaluated models.

Prior to that, Anjana was a Researcher at the University of Moratuwa, where they focused on detecting and identifying vehicles using machine learning and technologies such as Python, Raspberry Pi, sklearn, keras, and tensorflow.

Anjana also has experience as a Project Manager at DataSEARCH, where they managed multiple projects from October 2019 to February 2022. Additionally, they co-founded Connected Nodes in 2020.

In terms of academic roles, Anjana worked as an Academic Instructor at SLIIT, teaching and assisting students from January 2019 to July 2019. They also worked as a Research Assistant, using neural networks to detect and identify Autistic traits in speech patterns of developing children.

Anjana's first work experience was as an IT Intern at Ansell, where they maintained the network, set up and maintained computers, and handled other electronic devices.

Anjana Wijesinghe's education history begins with completing high school at Kandy Grammar School from 1999 to 2014. Afterward, from 2015 to 2016, Anjana pursued a Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SLIIT. Following this, Anjana attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2017 to 2018 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Electronics Engineering. Alongside their formal education, Anjana also obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in July 2018.
