Susan Lunn

Susan Lunn is the Head of Finance at Race Capital. She is outcome-driven and highly analytical executive with 25+ years of experience across prestigious capital managements. Demonstrated expertise in financial market activities as well as accounting, auditing, tax and statutory regulations that affect venture capital, hedge, private equity and mutual funds.

Susan came to Race from Kranz & Associates where she spent 8 years as their VP of Finance for the Venture Capital practice. Susan oversaw over 20 venture capital partnerships and management companies from formation, fund raising to managing the overall operations. She orchestrated financial reporting, audit and tax, financial planning and budgeting, filing requirements and compliance. She excels in establishing internal controls, policies, and mechanisms around fund’s financial reporting processes.

Prior to Kranz, Susan began her career as the Fund Accounting Professional for mutual funds. She continued to explore the field joining Farallon Capital Management for 14 years, where she built her experience in hedge funds. She supported mega international hedge funds, also managed financials,audit and tax, and filing requirements for their Asia satellite offices. Susan then served as Accounting Manager at SilverLake Technology Management, working on private equity and SBIC funds.
